He specialises in private client trust work with a particular emphasis on structures for international families. Alasdair has worked in the fiduciary sector for over 30 years, with additional experience of acting as a trustee of charities and NPOs and as a protector for family trusts. He has also acted as a director of investment funds. Alasdair joined Rawlinson & Hunter in Guernsey in 2007 and became a partner in 2008 and senior partner in 2011. Previously, he spent 16 years working for Barings (now Northern Trust) in Guernsey, latterly as an executive director of its trust company, where he was responsible for private clients and was Chief Fiduciary Officer. Alasdair was educated at Elizabeth College, Guernsey and graduated in Law from Oxford University.
